About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Spare Parts Sales Engineer for a permanent position within our Global Customer Support Division for Anchoring, Mooring, and Towing winches.
This role is specifically focused on selling spare parts for winches and other deck machinery equipment. You will be a key player in handling spare part inquiries and orders, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and business growth.
You will be working closely with a skilled and experienced team located in Rauma, Finland, ensuring strong collaboration and support across locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage spare part inquiries and orders for a defined area, with a focus on winch systems and major overhauls/docking.
  • Follow up with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate technical recommendations and quotations for upcoming overhauls and dockings.
  • Ensure timely processing of customer orders and maintain close communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Keep customers informed about ongoing and pending inquiries and orders.
  • Cooperate with customer support regarding service attendance.
  • Occasional travel for customer meetings.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Technical experience in the maritime industry, preferably in deck machinery spare parts, overhauls, and docking.
  • Proven experience in customer negotiation, sales, and commercial processes.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for technical and sales processes.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Outgoing, service-minded, and comfortable engaging with new people.
  • Solution-oriented and proactive in identifying opportunities.
  • Capable of building strong customer relationships and working independently.
