Development Engineer - Condition Monitoring Solutions

We are looking for a Development Engineer to join our Global Customer Support condition monitoring team in Rauma, Finland. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and improving our Condition Monitoring Solutions, working closely with both internal and external customers from initial planning through project completion.

Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional with a background in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering, we welcome your enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and technical expertise! You will be responsible for planning new solutions, updating existing systems, and providing hands-on technical support, as well as learning new things while developing documentation and protocols, among other things, that help our customers succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Administer monitoring systems, including servers and associated software.
  • Assist in developing and upgrading Condition Monitoring Solutions.
  • Develop and update manuals, protocols, and technical documentation.
  • Learn and adapt to new products, technologies, and systems.
  • Participate in vibration analysis and other monitoring techniques.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or automation) preferred.
  • Experience with design and documentation software such as AutoCAD, Teamcenter, MS Visio, MS Word, or Visual Studio Code
  • Hands-on experience with electronics, particularly low-voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring and familiarity with the maritime industry are considered an advantage.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
