HUGIN Endurance is the newest member of the HUGIN AUV family and is specifically designed for long range and persistent operations. It builds on the capabilities and performance of the HUGIN and HUGIN Superior AUV Systems.

HUGIN-Endurance_email_signature_banner.jpgHUGIN Endurance can cover more than 2000 line-kilometres over approximately 15 days in a single dive, enabling over the horizon unsupervised operation for a variety of mission tasks.

For naval application HUGIN Endurance is capable of carrying a variety of mission specific payload sensors configured for the challenges of military survey, MCM, ISR or persistent ASW.

Registration for the HUGIN Endurance webinar for defence applications is intended for personnel from naval and defence industry backgrounds.

Richard leads a team based in Norway, the UK and USA. He has a global remit for the sales and marketing of the HUGIN and HUGIN Superior Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), Sounder Unmanned Surface Vehicle (Sounder) and K-MATE, KONGSBERG’s autonomy engine for USVs. He and his team work across markets, covering defence and government agencies, academia and the commercial sector.

Before joining KONGSBERG in 2012, Richard held a similar position with International Submarine Engineering Ltd. in British Columbia, Canada. Prior to entering the AUV industry some 12 years ago, he was a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force.
