Sales Manager

We are on the hunt for a dynamic Sales Manager to drive our sales efforts in the EMEA region. This role offers a thrilling opportunity to collaborate with Kongsberg Discovery's talented sales team, contributing to our ambitious targets by ensuring our company remains at the forefront of innovation and competitiveness. Your primary focus will be on system sales to uncrewed surface vehicle (USV) builders and end-users. Additionally, you'll identify opportunities to cross-sell our diverse product portfolio to meet customer demand. Your focus will be related to products & solutions from Kongsberg Discovery, a company within Kongsberg Group. Focusing on further development of product-oriented businesses and operations based on a strong technology platform. Kongsberg Discovery develop and produce world class products for positioning, navigation, underwater positioning, seabed mapping, fish finding and ocean science.

In this position your main responsibilities are:

  • To create and maintain customer relations for system sales.
  • Develop sales and customer strategies for our products and solutions
  • Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
  • Operational sales towards defined areas and customers
  • Preparation of quotations and manage contract negotiations
  • Coordinate customer activities with sales resources within KONGSBERG.
  • Order intake budget, prognosis short and long term.
  • Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Attend industry conferences and events.

Qualifications

  • Technical education, bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Sales and marketing experience within the maritime industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in customer negotiation, sales and commercial processes is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, oral and written.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
