The recipient of the report shall assess whether it is necessary to protect the accused party/parties until the concerns have been investigated. Where such protection is considered necessary, the HR Department will be briefed and take the requisite precautions.
Retaliation is prohibited – compensation and punishment
Any adverse treatment of the person raising concern in response to the reporting of problems is prohibited. If management or colleagues take exception to the criticism, they will nevertheless be allowed to present objective counter-arguments, as long they go no further than necessary in rectifying the impression engendered by the notification.
