Microsoft Certified Power BI Connector available in Vessel Insight
The Vessel Insight Connector 1.2 has been approved by Microsoft as a certified connector and will be included as part of the April update of PowerBI.
With the Vessel Insight connector, customers can create dynamic dashboards and reports using data stored in Vessel Insight and other systems, and share these with other users in the organization. The scheduled refresh option ensures that all stakeholders always have access to the same insights and can collaborate on making better decisions.
How our customers are using the VESSEL INSIGHT POWER BI CONNECTOR
Exisiting Vessel Insight customers around the globe have already started using the PowerBI connector to solve company wide challenges, increase efficiency and reduce cost.
One example is a fleet wide Automatic Engine Report, which enables the customer to significantly reduce operational man hours on business critical reports. It also allows on-shore teams to be on top of each vessel in real-time. Another example is how the connector is used to monitor the Specific Fuel Oil Consumption (SFOC) and compare it to baseline to lower cost and drive change management.
