Gives you instant overview of onboard personnel

In:Range by ScanReach increases safety at sea with its wireless sensor technology that gives you access to the whereabouts of any personnel in real time. The solution provides immediate and precise information in a rescue mission.

Kongsberg Digital and ScanReach have partnered up in the Kognifai Partner Program making ScanReach’s technology available on Kognifai. Cabling has so far been the only available option for obtaining connectivity by data transfer in large and complicated steel environments such as ships, offshore platforms, and large industry plants. Wireless data transfer has not been fully technically viable until ScanReach developed its smart wireless sensor technology and algorithms tailored for working in confined steel environments.

"We are thrilled to welcome ScanReach as a partner to the Kognifai ecosystem. In:Range solution is a great showcase on how digital technology can help improve the safety of personnel onboard vessels. Also, their wireless sensor technology shows great potential for other use cases, and we look very forward to work closely with ScanReach in the years to come,” said Vigleik Takle, Vice President and Commercial Manager Maritime at Kongsberg Digital.

“For ScanReach, it is of the greatest importance to be available on global digital platforms and maritime marketplaces with our digital solutions In:Range and In:Connect. Therefore, we are proud to now be a partner of Kongsberg Digital and available on Kognifai. This is a milestone for us and marks the next and important step in our digital travel to make the life and work at sea even safer and connected. It has been a pleasure to work together with Kongsberg Digital towards this agreement, and we look forward to the digital future together,” said John Roger Nesje, CEO of ScanReach.
