Vice President Sales Offshore

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Vice President Sales Offshore in Deck Machinery & Motion Control. In this role, you will be part of the Global Sales & Marketing division in Kongsberg Maritime. 

As VP Sales Offshore you will lead a team with highly skilled Sales Managers. In this role and through the team, you will interact and cooperate across all our product divisions and functions globally. As a leader you are inspirational and capable to build a winning team that see the benefit of being proactive and collaborative with clients and colleges worldwide. Key accountabilities

  • Personnel responsibility for Sales managers mainly located in Ålesund area
  • Support the team to follow-up governance, compliance, and secure efficient operations
  • Sales and budget responsibility for the Offshore vessel segment for a range of products, systems, and solutions
  • Develop and implement Sales strategy aligned to the market, product development and divisional strategies
  • Secure that the team collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders
  • Report with dotted lines and participate in management meetings for the business unit Offshore Handling System
  • Participate in and lead bid reviews according to the Sales process

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in relevant subject
  • Proven record of leadership experience is required, including the ability to enable teams work effectively and collaboratively across a matrix organization
  • Excellent Interpersonal and persuasive skills are required, as well as the skills of strategic thinking, analyzing and reaching goals.
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
