Technical Support Engineer

We are now seeking a new Technical Support Engineer to strengthen our team.

Do you have experience with electrical system like Switchboards, Switchgear, Drives, Battery Packages and/or energy technologies?

If this sound like you, we got an exciting opportunity for you as a Technical Support Engineer.


Both newly graduates and experienced electricians and engineers with the right background will be considered.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Technical support and assistance towards internal and external customers
  • Follow-up and assist service engineers with technical support and solutions
  • Any ad-hoc task/assignment from time to time
  • Be part of the 24/7 duty phone support team
  • Assist with planning and coordinate service engineer’s assignments
  • Be a contact point towards the different product departments

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Electricians certificate group L (Low voltage) or H (High Voltage) is a requirement
  • Bachelor in electrical engineering or other relevant technical education is an advantage
  • Experience with automation system, drives and protection relay test equipment is an advantage
  • Knowledge of software programming is an advantage
  • Field experience with maritime electrical systems or similar industries
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English both oral and written
  • This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
