An exciting opportunity has arisen as Technical Account Manager (TAM), reporting to Operations Manager for Fleet Lifecycle Performance. In this role you will be a part of a team of dedicated technical account managers with responsibilities within different fleet segments. You will be responsible for a portfolio of Service agreements. You will be a connection point between our customer, our different product groups and the aftersales team

The Technical Account Manager’s main function is to follow up on Service Agreements, to secure our customers a most profitable and efficient operation. Our customers demand up-time on their assets and strive to keep total cost of ownership as low as possible. In this there is an opportunity for GCS Integrated Solution Service to act as a reliable partner using our competence providing after-market product solutions and services.

Key accountabilities

  • Be KM GCS main contact person for a portfolio of customers with Service Agreements (SA)
  • The TAM will be an escalating point for the SA customer with regards to the KONGSBERG Follow the Sun concept and the 24/7 ongoing operation between the customer and KONGSBERG
  • Provide obsolescence and Life Cycle Management analysis fleet wide to be able to inform the customer about recommended maintenance, modification, and upgrade work in due time before scheduled maintenance stops/dockings
  • Contribute in preparing commercial proposals for new functionality, modifications and/or replacement products in accordance with KM product lifecycle philosophy
  • Monitor and provide feedback on service and maintenance agreements
  • Follow up and visit assigned service agreement customers on a regular basis

Qualifications and experience

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree or similar, relevant experience may compensate for a formal degree
  • Experience with the marine industry is an advantage.
  • Commercial interest and understanding.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Accept travelling, as required.
  • Experience from Project management and or Coordination is an advantage
