Team Manager - Spares & Services Sales

We are looking for a new Team Manager.

Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades and support in the aftermarket. Our 3000 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30.000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades and spare parts in order to secure availability and predictability to our customers.


  • Manage team and follow up activities for Spares & Services Sales in Merchant Automation
  • Excellent work environment and development of individuals and team
  • Be a part of the support operation and ensure that all communication and customer requests are given the right attention/priority and response
  • Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the Kongsberg Maritime Quality Management System (QMS/HSE/Security)
  • Ensure employees are trained and certified
  • Knowledge and understanding of both GCS overall and department goals & KPI’s. Contribute to the fulfilment of these goals/KPI’s.
  • Participate in improving GCS operation, as required. Contribute to internal improvements and taking responsibility for implementing changes.
  • Decision maker in complex internal and external discussions within your area of responsibility
  • Extensive customer contact and cooperation with our Global Customer Support teams
  • Travel as required

Qualifications and experience

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English written and oral
  • Educated as Bachelor or equivalent experience
  • Management skills and ability to work with others in a team
  • Good understanding of project economy
  • Knowledge to KM Automation & Control portfolio and customer segments is an advantage

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
