Supply Chain Coordinator

The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing various aspects of the supply chain process, including materials planning, procurement, export control of strategic goods, and building facility repair and maintenance.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

1. Procurement Management:

  • Perform direct and indirect procurement for Kongsberg entities in Singapore.
  • Source, evaluate, and select vendors/suppliers/contractors.
  • Evaluate proposals/offers and make recommendations.
  • Procure products/services and receive goods/services.
  • Follow up with vendors/suppliers/contractors for delivery.
  • Subscribe items from Global AX to local AX.
  • Control and verify elements in procurement management and review processes.

2. Materials Planning and Inventory:

  • Perform materials planning for warehouses/projects.
  • Initiate, monitor, and complete purchases to replenish stocks.
  • Verify SOs/POs/invoices and register spare parts serial numbers.
  • Participate in assets and warehouse inventory stocktake.

3. Vendor/Supplier/Contractor Management:

  • Process vendor/supplier/contractor onboarding.
  • Establish and maintain vendor/supplier/contractor network.
  • Evaluate vendor/supplier/contractor performance.

4. Facility Management:

  • Source, evaluate, and select contractors for building facility repair and maintenance.
  • Procure products/services and follow up with contractors for delivery.

5. Strategic Goods Control:

  • Assist in various strategic goods control activities.
  • Formulate, review, and implement the Internal Compliance Programme.
  • Screen and approve transactions and enquiries related to strategic goods.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to company staff on strategic goods control.
  • Participate in strategic goods control audits and training/education programs.

6. Compliance and Management Systems:

  • Initiate actions to ensure compliance with regulations/standards/requirements related to supply chain.
  • Participate in the formulation, maintenance and improvement of the company Management Systems related to supply chain aspects.

7. Document Management:

  • Coordinate with users and third-party warehouse for storage and disposal of documents.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management or Business Management; or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge and skills or experience related to Supply Chain or Procurement.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or Procurement.
