Sales Engineer, Spares

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Sales Engineer Spares in our Global Customer Support Spares department in Ulsteinvik. In this role, you will provide value to our customers through support and service. You will join the Tier 2 team and ensure that we coordinate efficiently to solve issues our customers are facing and bring in the right colleagues to provide technical support. You are proactive, a driven team player and can establish a good personal relation with our customers and partners.

Candidates will be evaluated continuously.

Key accountabilities

  • Answer and solve technical customer requirements. Prioritize workload to ensure rush requests are answered quickly
  • Transferring customer spare part or overhaul inquiries to offers or orders making sure all customer requirements are met
  • Update technical information as needed to reflect current as-maintained installations
  • Coordinate the spare part process and collaborate efficiently with the support functions for technical support in addition to other relevant stakeholders

Qualifications and experience

  • Preferably, but not required, bachelor’s degree or technical college degree within fields such as engineering, supply chain, business, or marketing. Those with interest of the field are also encouraged to apply.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian
