An exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Site Manager for Kongsberg Maritime deliveries of Integrated Projects within Germany.

If you have an interest in the maritime industry as well as technical qualifications in electro, automation, electronics, or relevant experience plus experience in project execution, then you have the competence we seek. The department in which our new colleague will be working delivers mainly solutions to new built vessels and installations within the workboat, PAX and naval segment. The system solutions consist of products from the entire product portfolio: Automation & Control / Propulsion & Handling / Integration & Energy. Project success is dependent on an effective system integration engineering, thorough execution plans and good focus on the overall progress. So, these will be the main working areas.



  • Be the primary Kongsberg Maritime point of contact for all on-site activities for yard, contractors and end-clients
  • Planning and execution of engineering activities
  • Taking proactive lead in technical discussions for all installation and commissioning aspects of the project deliverables
  • Close cooperation with project participants worldwide
  • Providing report of site activities and look ahead to Senior Project Manager/Project Manager

 Qualifications and experience

  • Higher technical education
  • Experience and knowledge of marine equipment and control systems are desired, but not a requirement
  • Practical hands-on approach to complex tasks
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing
  • Travel as required
