Offshore Survey Advisor

 An exciting opportunity has arisen as Offshore Survey Advisor. You will support our customers with advice, planning and operation of our equipment for best possible quality and efficiency. Contribution in the sales process, delivery and engineering is also an important part of the role.

Our world class products are used in a wide range of subsea operations such as deep water research, subsea installation, AUV, USV and mapping surveys including products such as HiPAP, cNODE, HAIN, EM, GNSS and other complementary sensors.
The role is a fantastic opportunity for an Offshore Surveyor or Engineer that wants to make the transition to working onshore whilst keeping their hand in with some offshore field work. We also encourage recently educated personnel with interest in this field to apply for this position.

Key accountabilities

  • Keep up to date with the latest relevant technologies and methods within our domain
  • Assist customers in their operation offshore, from the office and onboard
  • Integration of products and solutions to meet customer survey application needs
  • Develop customer procedures for bespoke operations and applications
  • Demonstrations toward customers world-wide

Qualifications and experience

  • BSc or MSc Degree in Survey, Cybernetics, Electronics or similar
  • Experience from offshore survey and operations
  • Knowledge of acoustic positioning systems, INS and GNSS etc
  • Experience and understanding of SSBL calibrations, LBL array planning, error budgets and geodesy
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
