Lead- Logistic & Stores
1. Qualification
• Graduate in any discipline
2. Experience
• 5+ years of experience of handling the logistics function
• Good knowledge of the import export procedures and norms
• Stores and Inventory management
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
o AEO, ITAR & EAR knowledge shall be preferred
o Knowledge on customs requirement related to BIS, SVB, WPC etc
o Experience of handling Import/Export licenses & custom regulations.

4. Roles & Responsibilities
• Import clearance, Export/re-export
o Monitor Import and Export control for Kongsberg Maritime India Pvt Ltd
o Customs House Agent handling
o Responsible for placing order (PO preparation), preparation of Import, export/Import Pre & post Shipments documents.
o Execute Logistics processes ensuring time and cost optimal way of working.
o Planning logistics efficiently to meet our requirements
o Secure adherence to company governance framework and policies
o Travel to customs office as and when required.
• Licenses
o Maintain familiarity with and absolute adherence of government guidelines
o Import/Export licenses
o Customs regulations
o Dangerous Goods handling
o Responsible for application, renewal & follow up with DGFT for RCMC / SIES, BIS, SCOMET, SVB, WPC and any other relevant to maritime sector
• Stores & Inventory handling
o Supervise the inventory of stores and ensure proper tagging and labelling of all spare’s parts
o Ensure that the stores are adequately stocked with inventory as required and proper reporting system (FIFO & other reports) is maintained.
o Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
o To ensure proper handling of Spares in/Out and follow the correct procedures
o To ensure items are ready for shipment
o To coordinate with relevant stakeholders for transit insurance for all spares being shipped
o Handling audit queries or escalation issues
• Domestic Purchase and transit
o Vendor screening, assessment and Purchase order
o Plan and track the shipment of final products to customer destinations
Other:
• Collaborate with various departments to handle requirements
• Co-ordination with Accounts and Finance for all Bill of entries and Customs/Tax Invoice
• Insurance handling
• Responsible to prepare Status reports as required for Master data initiatives
• Risk monitoring
• Find areas of improvement
