Are you passionate about insurance and would like to be part of our team as an Insurance Manager? We are looking for you who are determined to achieve excellent results, promoting open communication, embracing curiosity and has a wish to pursue a career in insurance.

In this role, you will collaborate with experts in a supportive team environment, managing dedicated tasks and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Your impact will extend globally, supporting KONGSBERG businesses, and you will report directly to the Vice President of Insurance. Travel as required (estimate of 30 days, but may be adjusted).



  • Administration of KONGSBERGs global insurance programs
  • Lead and support in tender/renewal processes
  • Support sales and legal teams in evaluation and definition of contractual insurance clauses and responsibilities in contracts and projects
  • Claims management, mapping exercises and assessment of risk exposures
  • Coordination of and/or participation in site visits by insurance carriers
  • Other administration tasks and support to KONSBERG as a part of the corporate insurance team


Qualifications and experience

  • Master’s degree (economy, law, engineering or other relevant degree)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with international insurance programs
  • Other relevant background/experience may be considered
