Financial Controller - Global Customer Support

Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades and support in the aftermarket. Our 2300 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30.000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades and spare parts in order to secure availability and predictability to our customers. 
 

We are looking for an ambitious Financial Controller who thrives in an innovative environment. Joining us at an exciting time for our company, you will have a key role in our Financial reporting team. The team has an important role in contributing to achieve our strategic targets to grow our business while keeping cost at acceptable levels. You will be working closely with the other team members to provide first class reports and analysis to our Management team worldwide. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Reporting and consolidation of the Global Customer Support figures 

  • Perform analysis of reported figures vs budgets and trends 

  • Cost control, reporting, forecasting and budgeting for administration, management and allocated cost 

  • Contribute to the development and optimization of existing reports, systems and routines 

  • Follow-up with Managers and Management in our offices world wide 

  • Support the GCS Finance Team in other tasks, reports and analysis where needed 

 
 

Qualifications and experience 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field 

  • Some years of professional experience in the fields of reporting, consolidation and cost control 

  • Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management or other equivalent consolidation software is a preference 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or Baan is an advantage 

  • Advanced Excel skills 

  • Fluent in English both written and oral
