To join our leadership team, we are look for a Director Sales Enablement – Digital who will be vital in driving our success, supporting and enabling sales of digital solutions, and collaborating with a global sales team.

We will ask you to deliver on:

  • Sales Tools and Frameworks: Equip our sales teams with the tools and frameworks needed to excel in digital sales, and actively guide and support the promotion of digital offerings to the global sailing fleet. Your guidance will be instrumental in achieving success.
  • Business Model: Define and develop business models (services, consultancy, SaaS, licenses) and compelling customer value propositions for our digital offerings. Your creativity matters!
  • Sales Training: Develop comprehensive training programs, guidelines, processes, and marketing material specifically for our digital solutions. Boost sales effectiveness across the board.
  • Collaboration: Interface with sales, product development, and delivery teams. Maximize order intake for our digital unit through seamless coordination.
  • Contract Terms: Manage the establishment of terms and conditions for various commercial arrangements, including partnerships and customer contracts. Your attention to detail is crucial.
  • Feedback Loop: Seek and monitor market feedback and provide market insight to the rest of the value chain, so we can improve the next generation of our offerings.
  • Strategic Leadership and Cultural Catalyst: Actively contribute to operational and strategic discussions and foster an energized, inclusive, curious, and accountable leadership team culture. Shape our path to success.

You bring a formal background and experience of:

  • Education: A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
  • Sales Savvy: Proven sales experience within the maritime industry, preferably in digital solutions. Your track record speaks volumes!
  • Digital Landscape Familiarity: Understand Kongsberg Maritime’s and competitors’ digital offerings, the competitive landscape, and maritime customer needs.
  • Global Leadership: Previous leadership experience in a global business context is an advantage.
  • Business Acumen: Commercial mindset with a demonstrated ability to deliver financial results. Keep our market and customers at the forefront
  • Experience with business models like services, consultancy, SaaS, licenses etc.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
