Integrated Solutions in Kongsberg Maritime is responsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery for all Kongsberg's Automation, Bridge Systems, Oil & Gas and Energy products including wind and hybrid energy solutions. The division is also responsible for developing and delivering large projects by integrating solutions for Kongsberg to the maritime segments across our entire product range. Offshore Production Systems (OPS) is the Business Unit responsible for delivering Safety and Automation Systems for Offshore Production Units. Our knowledge and customer relations positions us well for being a key player when the energy business transforms into a greener future. We are looking for a highly motivated Director Operations to lead a department of project and team managers who manage deliveries to our customers both in the project phase and in the after-market phase. You will be part of the management team and report to Senior Vice President Offshore Production Systems.


Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for department with project managers and after-market team managers
  • Develop competence and capacity as required
  • Develop and lead the project managers and team managers in delivering business and project objectives according to requirements and expectations
  • Drive process and business improvements related to project and after-market execution
  • Contribute to strategy development and business opportunities towards the portfolio’s customers together with the OPS management team
  • Collaborate closely with other relevant departments supporting the delivery projects and after-market teams to ensure excellent execution
  • Financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting

  • Higher technical or economical education and experience in project management
