KPA Subscriber Connecting Unit

The purpose of the KPA Connection Unit is to simplify connection of subscriber lines to the tactical multiplexers Delatamux and Tactical Switches.
For easy access, the Connecting Unit can be mounted on the outside of the communications vehicle, and analogue and digital subscriber lines can then be connected directly to its numeric binding posts (fifteen 2-wire lines or five 4-wire lines to each unit).
The KPA is equipped with RFI filters, varistors, and gas discharge tubes to provide the unit with EPM/ECCM protection.

KPD1

In addition to KPA functionality, the KPD1 is dedicated for digital subscribers with higher data rates (up to 256 kbit/s). The 5 modules can be freely configured matching the configuration of the line cards in the CPX. Each module has its own function.
The KPD1 is designed for rough handling under military field conditions, and is intended for use in the same environment as the CPX and the DMU.
