SiteCom® is designed to work as a centralised data acquisition, aggregation and storage hub, providing a one-stop system for end-users to access, display and manage all real-time drilling and evaluation data.

It is vital to any real-time data management strategy that drilling and geological evaluation data is made available in the right format. The industry standard is WITSML and Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies’ SiteCom® is built on WITSML foundations. Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies is a leading member of the industry’s independent WITSML governing committee and SIG, lead by Energisitics, and actively encourages adherence to this standard for full transparency and seamless cross-platform data exchange. At the rigsite, SiteCom® will convert non-WITSML datafeeds to WITSML as part of the aggregation process, and as SiteCom® database is fully WITSML-compliant the client is assured that their data is not tied to proprietary data archiving and retention.
