Combined with advanced tailor-made finite element based computer programs, Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies provides high-end engineering services for all types of flexible riser and flowline designs and applications.

Detailed knowledge and understanding of the structural design of flexibles and flowlines are the key to safe and efficient use of these products. We have been working with flexible pipes from all the three manufacturers, Coflexip, Wellstream and NKT for several years gaining in-depth knowledge of the designs and their behaviour. We have wide engineering experience on flexible flowlines, e.g. on tie-in procedures, protection/burial evaluations and analysis of potential upheaval buckling phenomena:
