Integrity Management

Integrity Management is the continuous process throughout the life cycle of the asset, focusing on information handling, operation, Inspection Maintenance and Repair including risk based inspection, analyses and status assessments.

Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies have focus on assets such as flexible risers, drilling risers, work-over risers (WOR) with supporting software such as riserNET, WOR database and Riser Management System (RMS).

Pipelines, subsea components, Work-over risers, drilling risers, free hanging risers, covering umbilical-, cable-, production-, injection risers etc, are core components in development of deep-water offshore oil and gas fields. Such components represent substantial investments and are often designed to operate with limited maintenance for long periods. The design is performed with basis in known field specific parameters, experiences and expected changes in design parameters during the operational lifetime of the field.

A pre requisite for efficient Integrity Management is information. During the life cycle of components such as flexible risers, drilling risers and WORs important information is produced continuously. The challenge lies in preserving information for efficient status assessment on demand. 

Our services are based on our experience regarding analysis, inspection, testing and repair of flexible risers, drilling risers and WORs. We are continuously developing the portfolio of software solution supporting Integrity Management services, see riserNET, RMS and WOR database.
