Operator Training Simulator

Operator training in a realistic environment, facing exact copies of the operator station, and training operators in plant operation before start-up can increase returns on investments by improving knowledge and secure decisions.

Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies have delivered a number of large-scale Operator Training Simulator systems that connect the dynamic simulator plant model to a replica of the Distributed Control System (DCS). We have developed the communication links in co-operation with the DCS suppliers. All communication and links are easy to configure, capable to handle high throughput ensuring a robust performance.
