Introduction
Customer satisfaction is our most important measure of quality. We strive to give our products high reliability, ease of operation and global support.
The company is organized in divisions and has a number of subsidiary companies around the world. Business support functions are HSE, Human Resources, Quality Management, Finance & Legal and Infrastructure Management. Management team
The top management structure consists of:

The President is a member of the KONGSBERG top management team. The CFO has the overall responsibility for the company finances, information system and site administration. The COO has the overall responsibility for Operation, HR, HSE, Quality Management and Risk & Compliance Management. The CTO has the overall responsibility for Product Development & Maintenance. The SVP Sales & Marketing have the overall responsibility for Sales & Marketing.
The Senior Vice Presidents for each division have the overall responsibility for the total performance of their division. The VPs for each business unit, within each division, has the responsibility for the performance of each business unit. The Quality Manager has been appointed the management representative for Quality Management.

Monitoring success factors
Customer satisfaction
- The SVP’s Sales & Marketing has the responsibility to conduct customer satisfaction surveys regularly.
- Debrief done in delivery projects.
- Service reports from Customer Support gives information about relations with Customer.
- Warranty cost / claim handling.
- All attendants at our training courses are asked to answer a questionnaire.
- Information from exhibitions.
- Feedback from customer surveys.
Employee satisfaction
- Climate survey. All employees participate in this survey. The result gives the management information about employee satisfaction.
- All employees shall once a year have an appraisal interview, including management appraisals, with the department manager to reveal potential improvements.
Owner satisfaction
