How to get to the town of Kongsberg

From Oslo Airport Gardermoen
By car
If you go by car - please see the driving instructions here. It is between one and a half and two hours drive, depending on driving conditions and traffic.
By bus
The Airport Express Coach departs every 20 minute from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Oslo Bus Terminal.
In Oslo you have to change bus to TIMEkspressen (Linje 1) to get to Kongsberg. It departs from Oslo Bus Terminal forty minutes past every hour 24/7.
By train
The Airport Express Train (Flytoget) departs every 10 (daytime) or 20 minutes (night time). You have to change to a local or regional train at Oslo Central Station to get to Kongsberg.
NSB Regional and Local trains run via Oslo Airport.
Arriving in Kongsberg
When you arrive in Kongsberg by bus or train, get a taxi from the train station (the bus stops there too). Ask the taxi driver to take you to Kongsberg Technology Park, Kirkegårdsveien 45 (if you visit KONGSBERG's head office or Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace), or to Carpus to visit Kongsberg Maritime.
From Sandefjord Airport Torp
To Kongsberg you can go by taxi or rent a car and drive.
It is between one and one and a half hours drive, depending on driving conditions.
