Sponsorship
It is an absolute requirement that KONGSBERG's sponsorship activities be conducted in compliance with the Group's value platform and corporate Code of Ethics.
We would like our sponsorship strategy to be perceived as positive by our employees and in the local communities in which we operate. We also hope they will project a favourable impression of KONGSBERG in general. KONGSBERG's sponsorship activities largely focus on the following three areas:
- Young people's activities in the local communities in which KONGSBERG operates.
- Cultural activities in the local communities in which KONGSBERG operates.
- Social and humanitarian projects (incl. environmental) at the local and national levels, which aim at a sustainable objective.
KONGSBERG's policy is not to provide funding for:
- Individuals
- Travel/trips
- Religious organisations
- Political parties
- Cash payments
- Applications that are not in compliance with the guidelines or are submitted through other channels
