1. Reporting on corporate governance
Norwegian Code of Practise:
- The board must ensure that the company implements sound corporate governance.
- The board of directors must provide a report on the company's corporate governance in the annual report. The report must cover every section of the Code of Practice. If the company does not fully comply with this Code of Practice, this must be explained in the report.
- The board of directors should define the company's basic corporate values and formulate ethical guidelines in accordance with these values.
The Group has drawn up a special policy for corporate governance, and the Board has decided to comply with the Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance.

The Group has drawn up its own Code of Ethics, most recently revised in April 2008. This Code of Ethics is published in the Group's Annual Report and CSR Report (find links to the reports on the right hand side) and at our website (find links on the right hand side).
