The CPX250 is a customiced product based upon the CPX200 and

• is an autonomous, high capacity, digital, field exchange, offering switching functions to both Time Division Multiplex (TDM) interfaces and line interfaces.
• can be equipped with various types of line interfaces. Each line interface supports various types of subscriber equipments. Telephones, Multi Line Terminals (MLT), radios, data equipment and PTT / PABX are supported.
• is small, lightweight and has low power consumption.
• is designed to be rack mounted and meet military environmental standards for harsh environment.

The CPX250 has an automatic equipment detection function. Different equipment types can be connected to the TDM ports or to a special line card (CHO1). The function covers both the equipment type and the bitrate. The TDM ports can also be set manually to a pre-defined fixed equipment type or bitrate.
