Remote weapon systems to Switzerland

KONGSBERG has been awarded a MNOK 246 order by the Swiss Army for the delivery of PROTECTOR weapon control systems for command vehicles type Piranha. Switzerland will be the seventh country to choose PROTECTOR to safeguard its military vehicles.

In 2006, KONGSBERG has sold PROTECTOR remote weapons systems worth a total of NOK 1.1 billion. The company has hired 50 new employees to meet the increased demand.
