MNOK 70 Penguin contract

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has signed a contract valued at about MNOK 70 with the Australian Department of Defence for the delivery of more Penguin missiles to the Royal Australian Navy. The contract is piggybacked on two earlier missile contracts signed in 1998 and 1999, respectively. Thus the total scope of Penguin deliveries to Australia aggregates roughly MNOK 950. The Royal Australian Navy will be deploying the Penguin missiles on its US manufactured Kaman helicopters.
