How to enable Java - Kongsberg Norcontrol IT eLearning
The eLearning course runs best in Microsoft Internet Explorer (4.0 or higher) but will run in other internet browsers.
We advised to close all other programs as the course is graphic intensive.
It is best to set your display resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels. Do this by opening the Display Properties dialog (either by right-clicking on your Desktop or through the Control Panel). Click on the Settings tab and move the Screen Area sliding bar to the correct resolution.
If you are running Windows XP, Java may not be installed on your machine. If you cannot view a menu on the right hand side of the window (in the AIS Network demo), and/or if the eLearning lessons cannot be run, you will need to install Java. To do this, click here (takes you to a download page on sun.com) and install Java SE Runtime Environment.
Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher
To enable Java in Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer, click on Tools, and select Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab and then check the box next to the Java selection.
Most important: Do NOT enable Java (Sun) if your version of MS Internet Explorer is lower than 6.0.
Good luck!
